Art Work︎︎︎

The starting point tends to be investigatory, and the main engine is to collect and connect.

The process is negotiating between the intentional and the generative output, in physical and digital material alike. This often results in handmade and digital collage, three dimensional collage and spacial assemblages, analogue photography and photogrammetry landscape.

While exercising states of representation, the intentions are essentially poetic.

Design Work︎︎︎

Caring about concept since 2011. A fan of flexible systems, crafty grids, tangible designs, a good word, content architecture and form that follows function. Via branding, print design (is not dead), UI/UX, motion, advertising and digital products.

The Mornings After

One analog portrait was taken first thing in the morning, for 3 months, before coffee or talking to anyone, right after waking up. This personal zine is a collection of these morning moments accompanied by typewrited notes on the events of each previous evening.
3 months are, then, knitted by portrait and text.

The conception and production of this object is metaphorical. It involved analog portraiture, film development, digitization, digital print, cut and glue on waste paper, typewritting RISO printed and hand-stitched in Lisbon.
